Various Sizes Customized Tungsten Electrode Accessible For Tungsten Electrodes

We can produce forged production rods, bars and blocks of tungsten, molybdenum, TZM and Mo-La alloys, and supply tungsten electrode rods and molybdenum electrode rods for glass melting and rare earth smelting in bulk all year round. Our tungsten and molybdenum electrode rods are usually 40-100mm in diameter and can weigh up to 100kg per piece.

Product description

Tungsten and molybdenum electrodes are the outstanding materials for glass melting and rare earth smelting due to their good corrosion resistance, great thermal and electrical conductivity and high temperature stability.

We adopts a combination of forging and hot isostatic pressing method to produce tungsten and molybdenum electrode rods with the characteristics of high density, uniform and long life.

On account of better corrosion resistance, good thermal/electric conductivity and strong high-temperature stability, tungsten-molybdenum materials have become prioritzed electrode materials in the fields of glass smelting, rear earth smelting, glass fibers, aluminium silicate, etc.

Application:

1. Owing to their high density, heat-resistance, as well as fine thermal and electricity conductivity, tungsten and molybdenum parts are widely applied. They are mainly made into rocket motor throat liner, X ray generator target, armor warhead, rare earth electrode, glass furnace electrode and so on.
2. Most of our tungsten and molybdenum machined parts are used as MOCVD and ion implantation parts
3. Utilized in X-ray diagnostics, CT scan, nuclear medicine and other fields.
4. Tungsten and molybdenum machined parts are also used as seedholders and fasteners in vacuum and reducing atmosphere furnace.
5. Used as central structural material, anti-radiation, heat resistance parts in nuclear reactor.

The significance of replacing tungsten-thorium electrodes by lanthanum-tungsten electrodes is firstly reflected in the prevention from radioactive hazards. The electric conductivity of tungsten-lanthanum 15 (with the lanthanum oxide content of 1.5%) is the most approximate to that of 2% thorium-tungsten electrodes; therefore, electric welders can conveniently and quickly replace thorium-tungsten electrodes by these electrodes without the variation of any welding procedure, thus avoiding radioactive hazards of thorium-tungsten electrodes. This transformation is easy and free no matter under AC conditions or DC conditions. Lanthanum-tungsten electrodes also have other advantages of durability in use, high current but the minimum burn-out rate.
