Tungsten-based high specific gravity alloys are widely used because of their high density, high strength, high hardness, good ductility, electrical and thermal conductivity, and other comprehensive excellent properties.

The tungsten-based high specific gravity alloys produced by Acme meet the requirements of ASTM-B 777.

Advantages:

High specific gravity

Easy to cut and process

Excellent mechanical properties

High modulus of elasticity

Effective absorption of x-rays and γ-rays (absorption of x-rays and

γ-rays is about 30%-40% higher than that of lead)

No harm to environment and health

Product Description

Tungsten based high specific gravity alloys are also known as high density tungsten based metals or high specific gravity tungsten alloys. According to the American Standard ASTM B777-2007, tungsten-based high specific gravity alloys are divided into four grades, in which the tungsten content is 90%, 92.5%, 95% and 97% respectively, and the rest are nickel, iron and copper.
