Molybdenum electrode has high high temperature strength, good high temperature oxidation resistance and long service life. The main component of molybdenum electrode is molybdenum, which is produced by powder metallurgy process. The international common composition of molybdenum electrode is 99.95% and the density is greater than 10.15g/cm3 to ensure the quality of the glass and the service life of the electrode.
Commonly used molybdenum electrodes range in size from 20 mm to 152.4 mm in diameter and up to 1500 mm in length as a single unit.
