Product Description

Niobium is a rare, silvery gray, soft and ductile metal with a high melting point. At room temperature, niobium does not react with air and is not completely oxidized when red hot in oxygen. Niobium can be directly combined with sulfur, nitrogen and carbon at high temperatures. Niobium does not react with inorganic acids or bases and is insoluble in aqua regia, but is soluble in hydrofluoric acid. Due to its good superconductivity, high melting point, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, niobium is a good material.

Features

Niobium can be drawn into thin wire foil. Its coefficient of thermal expansion is very small. Tantalum has excellent chemical properties and high corrosion resistance.
