Equipped with mature tungsten-molybdenum and alloy forming and machining processes and equipment, Achemetal can produce molybdenum top head in large quantities. Molybdenum top head are usually made of molybdenum-zirconium-titanium alloy (TZM).
TZM alloy is used to produce seamless steel pipe threading bar tips because of its excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance. It is often referred to as a molybdenum top head .
It is made of molybdenum powder with rare earth materials and processed through the process of mixing, forming, shape processing and high temperature sintering. It is mainly used for piercing seamless steel pipes such as stainless steel, brazed steel, bearing steel and high temperature alloy steel.
